Veterinary Radiologist

NorthStar VETS is seeking a Veterinary Radiologist to join its team
NorthStar VETS is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible individual to join its Diagnostic Imaging team, currently composed of two board certified radiologists. NorthStar VETS is an award winning, privately owned, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital located in central New Jersey which is expanding with the opening of several additional satellite locations in southern and coastal New Jersey. The hospital provides emergency services as well as specialty services including Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Critical Care, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Behavior, Avian/Exotics, Clinical Pathology and Canine Rehabilitation. Primary care services are not available, and internship and residency programs are currently unsupported at our facility. The 33,000 square foot hospital, built in Robbinsville staffs 18 emergency doctors and 29 specialists. Doctors enjoy a collaborative and collegial atmosphere while providing the highest quality of care for their patients.

The diagnostic imaging equipment includes a Toshiba 64 slice CT, a Toshiba Aplio 300 ultrasound unit, a Siemens 1.5 Tesla on-site MRI, 2 DR imaging suites, a dedicated reading room with 2 Barco medical grade monitors, fluoroscopy and Sound Smartpacs system. The radiologists read all in-house studies (including cases from satellite locations), and also perform outpatient ultrasound and teleradiology services for referring veterinarians. Both satellite locations have DR imaging suites, Toshiba ultrasound, and the soon to open coastal satellite location will house a Toshiba 16 slice CT.

Our facility is located in central New Jersey, which is easily accessible from both the Jersey shore and the city of Philadelphia. The satellite location is in Maple Shade, NJ with a second one already in the works.
