If left untreated, periodontal disease can cause bad breath and tooth decay/loss. The Dentistry and Oral Surgery Services We Provide
Our animal dentistry and oral surgery team provides these advanced services:
- Endodontic treatment including root canals and vital pulp therapy
- Periodontal (gum and bone) treatment including dental cleaning, root planning, periodontal surgery, and crown lengthening procedures
- Oral surgery including extractions, oral oncology procedure, tumor removal, cleft palate and oronasal fistula repair, and muscle biopsy for suspected masticatory myositis (an autoimmune disease in which the body attacks the muscles required for chewing)
- Prosthodontics in which crowns and other artificial replacements for teeth and other parts of the mouth are fitted and placed
- Orthodontics to help animals with painful or life-threatening dental problems and enable them to chew and eat normally
