If your pet needs immediate medical care, you can turn to NorthStar VETS' Emergency Department at any time - without an appointment. Our trained emergency team is available 24/7 to provide expert care for urgent, potentially life-threatening illnesses and injuries at a moment's notice, or when your family veterinarian is unavailable.

Whatever condition brings your pet to our Emergency Department, our team of caring doctors and technical staff has the experience, expertise and advanced equipment to provide whatever level of care is needed.

We understand that it's stressful to have a pet in the hospital, and you can rest assured that we'll treat your pet as we would our own. And we'll be here to guide you every step of the way, with respect, kindness and empathy.

NorthStar VETS provides a full range of advanced services to diagnose and treat critically ill or injured pets, including:

• Advanced life support/CPR
• Complete on-site diagnostic imaging equipment and laboratory for fast, accurate diagnosis
• Comprehensive surgical and anesthesia services should your pet require surgery, and attentive postoperative care
• Intravenous and enteral (feeding tube) nutrition
• State-of-the-art intensive critical care ward with advanced monitoring and mechanical ventilation (breathing support)
• Transfusion medicine
